#ClearTheList Campaign

About

PledgeCents has created the #PCclearthelist Campaign to help support educators receive all the materials they need for their classroom to start the year. This campaign is only valid until August 31st, 2019. PledgeCents will choose random lists to clear, provide $$$ matching opportunities, and Twitter / Facebook share matching opportunities to help as many educators as we can to #ClearTheList! It doesn't have to end there. Even if a list is completely cleared, educators will still have the opportunity to raise more funds to further support their students and classroom needs throughout the year! There is no limit to how much $$$ you can earn!

Steve Isaacs

Teacher, Game Design and Development grades 7 - 12

I teach Video Game Design and Development to 7th and 8th graders at William Annin Middle School and online for Virtual High School. In addition to teaching, I am the co-founder and co-moderator of the #EdTechBridge community, an organization striving to create collaborative partnerships among #EdTech stakeholders in order to create better products to serve our students.

Margie Nisbett

Stephanie Thompson

Teacher

I am a 6th grade math teacher in an economically disadvataged area of Houston. I believe in creating safe and engaging classrooms for each and every student, no matter their zip code. I am fully committed to seeing my students to and through college in order for them to create the best life they can for themselves.

Jacquelynn Rice

3rd Grade Teacher

This will be my third year in the classroom and my second year as a 3rd-grade teacher. Last year was so overwhelming that it was hard to keep track of supplies and to really understand what I would need for my students. I often kept finding myself as the store buying something new. This year I hope to be so prepared that I only find myself at the store for food. I work in a low-income district when almost 100% of the students have free or reduced-price lunch. Most of them use the school as an escape for their lives. I want to make sure my classroom is always that space for them.

Amy Fuhr

teacher

I will update this section shortly.

Kymberli Wregglesworth

kwregglesworth@oacsd.com

I am a veteran high school social studies educator who is passionate about gamification and game-based learning and integrating tech into my classroom.

Stacy McGough

skmcgoug@garlandisd.net

I will update this section shortly.

Cassie Peterson

3rd Grade Teacher

I am a fifth grade math and science teacher to a dynamic group of kids. My school is made up of three small farming communities. As a result, we have many migrant students who don't have access to many educational materials or technology. We are currently at 50% reduced lunch rate, but that doesn't stop our kid's love for learning. They are my reason and "why" I teach. They are our future.

Ashley Ellens

Special Education

I am an Adapted PE teacher at a school for students with learning differences and physical challenges.

Eleanor Wallace

8th grade teacher

I am an 8th grade teacher in a Title 1 school, but I am also a volunteer trap shooting coach for another district. And while the second district is not Title 1, at least 50% of our team members qualify for free/reduced meals. So whether it is in the classroom or out on the field, I am working to expose students to new ideas and experiences.

Jamie Rudnicki Samson

4/5th teacher

I will update this section soon.

Jennifer Banks

teacher

I am a high school Math teacher who who teaches in a Title 1 school. I have been actively securing funding for my students for a couple of years now because I believe that there is always a way to provide the necessary materials to make learning fun, engaging and meaningful. I am passionate about giving the best I can provide in terms of technology and school materials for my students. If the school cannot provide something your students need, you can always be creative in finding these for them.

Katelyn Smith

2nd Grade Teacher

I will update this section soon.

Gabriela Gonzales

3rd grade teacher

After serving almost 12 years in the military I was medically retired due to an injury sustained overseas. I wanted to continue serving and helping our country so I went back to school, took the tests, and became an elementary school teacher. This year was my first year teaching and I have been able to see first hand how important it is to have the appropriate classroom resources in order to make instruction successful. Everything from classroom management to instruction itself relies on what is available to the classroom. It is no secret that education isn’t always financed the way it should be. I am dedicated to making sure my students get the best education possible. I am passionate about allowing my students to think outside the box and participate in as much project based learning as possible. I would like to provide an environment that meets the needs of all students which includes equipping my class with the resources needed to implement flexible seating. I would also like to equip my class to allow more STEM based learning.

Amanda Bitting

Kindergarten

I am a kindergarten teacher in Nebraska! I absolutely love what I do and I really enjoy providing my students with a positive, safe, and nurturing learning environment. I have been teaching kindergarten for 7 years and I can’t see myself doing anything else! I am married to a marine veteran and we have two adorable pups. My wish list was full of STEM materials for my kindergarten students. Most of those items have been purchased, I only have two remaining items. A doll accessory set for my kiddos to use in the dramatic play center & a yoga ball balance chair. The accessories will encourage play which is so important to social emotional development in Kindergarten. The chair is more of a want for me. I have a bad back and often spend an hour or two working in small groups with students each day. I am hoping to get something that will support my back & provide a little more comfort while I work with students. Thank you so much!!

I am going into my 17th year of teaching, but my first year as a 1st grader teacher. Although I am a little nervous about teaching primary students, I am also excited to watch them grow as learners.

Jodi O’Donnell

Teacher

I am a teacher at a title 1 High School north of Houston TX. I teach 11th and 12th graders in a credit recovery setting so I teach ALL subjects. I am also the social studies specialist on my campus. Everyday is a challenge with these at risk kids. I have pregnant students, single moms, homeless kids, abandon kids and kids in legal trouble but they all deserve the chance to better their lives through education! This list focuses on the major needs throughout the year.... snacks my students can’t provide for themselves, much needed classroom storage and batteries for our calculators as well as cleaning supplies for our classroom. Basic items and nothing over the top. I just want my students to have what they need to learn. Anything is a blessing to them and I thank you for your consideration!

Chelsea Thayer

4th grade teacher

Hi! I’m a second year teacher in a high poverty/high trauma area of Washington. I’m also a mom of 5, ages 3, 8, 10, 11, and 12 which means funds are tough to come by, especially around back to school time! I have a vision of a classroom built around choice and that is inviting for all students. Our classroom is their safe space and the items I have on my list will help them feel that. Anything helps!!

Teacher 6th grade - English as a Second Language for ELA

I am a middle school ESL ELA teacher relocating from Houston, TX to Reading, PA. The Reading School District teacher contracts just ended August 31st and our first pay will not be distributed until September 13th. RSD is Title 1, 80% Hispanic, 25% ESL and one of the lowest funded in the nation as well as the lowest rated in PA. I work tirelessly to provide the best experience for my students from technology integration, personalization, purchasing books out of pocket and gifting them to students, etc. My DonorsChoose bookcase project had to remain at my previous school, so I’ve started from scratch.
