With these funds I will...purchase the items on my Amazon wish list. These items include expo markers, books, whiteboard stand, paper, highlighters, toner to print in color, and glue.
Back Up Plan
If we do not reach our goal I will most likely purchase all of the items with my own money, like I have always done- it’s nice to get a little help sometimes, especially with expenses with my own family. I have also shared my list through #clearthelist movement.

I’m a 6th grade Math/Science and Exploratory( Students learn about gardening and sustainability, recycling through art, water conservation etc) teacher in the Coachella Valley working for the Palm Springs USD. This is my 15th year as teacher, and I continue to love what I do. Our school is a Title 1, which means that due to lower socioeconomic demographics, 100% of the population receive free lunch. As a first generation college student, my goal is to incite the love of learning and encourage students to always be curious about the world around them. I want my students to grow into leaders capable of making a difference in their local and global community. Education has impacted my way of viewing life in many ways. For one, I’ve realized the importance of seeking an education because I was able to help those around me. In addition, I was able to get out of poverty. Now, I can also influence my students to continue their education. I want support them by providing the tools they need to be successful in their college or career path. Help me obtain some of the basic tools we can use in our class to make our learning exciting and equitable to all! Thank you!
