With these funds, I will...purchase as many refurbished Chromebooks as a can to provide an avenue for my students to perform interactive labs that are equitable to real-life experiences and applicable to the real world. I currently have classes of 25-30 with access to two Chromebooks hindering each student the opportunity to research the numerous STEM opportunities available for young learners today. They are excited about learning and by no choice of their own lives a high poverty urban area with limited access to technology and the world around them. Providing the necessary technology to be competitive in today's demanding workplace is imperative when preparing them to become positive contributors to society and be productive community members.
