With these funds I will empower our students to incorporate STEAM concepts into the Physical Education Classroom. STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) in PE is a lofty idea because of time constraints and PE has a Curriculum in and of itself. Books like "The Garden Classroom" will enable us attain valuable math skills area and perimeter as well the physical activity that comes with gardening. I'm also excited about the Joey Jump boards and being able to utilize them to teach our students about mass and force. Being able to seamlessly integrate these resources into PE is vital in our world of time constraints. Our schools goal is to utilize every teacher and all adults in our building to improve the academic success of every student as well as enhance our students social and emotional well-being.
