Making is a powerful trend in education, where students explore new concepts, bring ideas to life, and apply their talents in new and exciting ways. I would like the students in our school to have these experiences, and I need your help to create a makerspace and purchase the learning resources.

A makerspace is a mash-up of different spaces—the science lab, home economics room, art room, wood shop and tech lab. Our makerspace, from Demco, will be a place where students get hands-on experience with robotics and coding, learn the principles of design and engineering, circuitry and electricity, and develop unique solutions to tackle real-world problems. Through these experiences, our students will be honing skills their future employers are seeking - collaboration, communication, creativity and critical thinking.
