#ClearTheList To Make and Collaborate!

The Description

With these funds I will...purchase supplies that will allow building of projects that can tell a story or teach a lesson. Items such as the small motors can make a project “come alive.” The felt squares can be stitched together for a classroom quilt. The vinyl can be put on tees that the students design. Or, imagine a first grader showing his or her kindergarten buddy a simple motor and how to use it. It’s a sense of inclusion for all. Having these materials available to students will not only promote hands on, engaging learning, but encourage collaboration so students from different backgrounds can come together. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/dl/invite/c70sMmq?ref_=wl_share

Back Up Plan

If we do not reach our goal I will purchase...the motors only, from my own personal funds.

About the Creator

First grade rocks! I am a mom of 4 boys and a first grade teacher. The students and families that I work with are kind, hard working, and loving. Even though I found my passion later than many, it is the best career anyone could ask for. I believe a growth mindset is one of the most powerful tools in the classroom. I teach that mistakes make your brain stronger and you may not be able to do it now, but you will with perseverance. That's the power of yet! "The Power of Yet" is how I fund projects for my classroom. I may not have the books, supplies, etc. yet, but I will with hard work and perseverance.
