With these funds I will purchase needed classroom supplies:

Activities of Daily Living:  Lysol wipes - dish soap - laundry soap - storage bags

Hygiene/Independent Living:  baby wipes - hand sanitizer - lotion - grooming items

Service-Learning Project:  cardstock - stickers - glue - miscellaneous art supplies

Back Up Plan

If we do not reach our goal I will purchase as many items as I can and continue donation requests from community partners.

Creative Connections

August 28, 2019

This is our service-learning project.  We connect academics and transition skills to community experiences.  The students create seasonal greeting cards and crafts for residents of a local nursing home, clients of a local food bank, and our bus drivers.  With the fundraiser, the students will continue to create items, learn to clean-up, and improve personal appearances.  Every dollar counts!  We appreciate all support!

I am a special educator working with high school age students with multiple disabilities. I teach academics and functional/transition skills. I am also a member of our district's transition team. I recently completed my master's degree in special education with an emphasis on transition services.
