I am a 14th year teacher at a public school in Whittier. When 31 plus students walk through my door each day, I see a homogeneous group of third graders, all with unique needs. I am a life long learner and it is an ongoing process to research and provide what will make my students successful, both on the academic and emotional front. Over the years, I have become much more active in looking for the development of character education and strategies to ease anxiety, anger, and other emotional stressors.
