The Description

With these funds I will...purchase materials for students to engage in STEM activities to expand their critical thinking and problem solving skills. Items for classroom transformations will be used during test review to create a fun, engaging atmosphere as we exercise our brains and strength our academic skills!

About the Creator

I am a 12th year teacher in a small, rural school in Oklahoma. We are a Title 1 school with approximately 64% of students on free and reduced lunch. I currently teach 5th and 6th Science which is my absolute favorite subject! I am also teaching 6th grade reading, my 2nd favorite!
I grew up playing school in my bedroom of dolls and pets as my students. I started college as a nursing major but soon realized my passion wasn’t for nursing. I didn’t grow up playing nurse, I grew up playing teacher!
I love to put together hands on activities for my students and throw parties too so I am working on developing STEM boxes and a stash of classroom transformations for test reviews!
