I am a teacher at a title 1 High School north of Houston TX. I teach 11th and 12th graders in a credit recovery setting so I teach ALL subjects. I am also the social studies specialist on my campus. Everyday is a challenge with these at risk kids. I have pregnant students, single moms, homeless kids, abandon kids and kids in legal trouble but they all deserve the chance to better their lives through education!
This list focuses on the major needs throughout the year.... snacks my students can’t provide for themselves, much needed classroom storage and batteries for our calculators as well as cleaning supplies for our classroom. Basic items and nothing over the top. I just want my students to have what they need to learn. Anything is a blessing to them and I thank you for your consideration!
