Welcome to our future! Thank you so much for stopping by! Did you know that in urban areas, one average, only ONE in TEN children will go to and through college? At KIPP West Philadelphia Prep, we're working to change that number to TEN out of TEN. Can you imagine a world where that is possible? Circumstances should not determine a child's future; excellent educational opportunities should. We believe that every child deserves that very excellent education. Thank you for taking the time, effort, and even money to help us achieve these goals. Together, we can give our children the education they deserve. Through investing in our children, we are investing in the success of our future.

Brittany Parks

5th grade teacher

Hi everyone! I'm Ms. Parks, a passionate and dedicated 5th grade teacher living and working in West Philadelphia. I love my job and my students, but unfortunately many of them do not have access to high quality materials to help them succeed in school. I am so thankful for people like you that believe in my students the way I do--all students deserve quality education, no matter their race, gender, or socioeconomic background.

Stephanie Fell

6th Grade Lead Teacher

I am a 6th grade lead teacher at KIPP West Philadelphia Preparatory Charter School. This is my first year teaching at KIPP. I previously taught for 2 years at a charter school in Dallas, Texas. My current classroom is in dire need of a classroom library. The books that the previous teacher left behind are in poor shape, and my district does not have a budget to purchase new classroom texts. My students are eager to read and eager to grow in their literacy skills, and I would love to be able to provide a culturally and print-rich environment for them to access. Any and all texts on 3rd-8th grade reading levels would be greatly appreciated!
