Kimberly Bond-Thomas

4th Grade Teacher

Currently , I am a teacher at a Title 1 public school in one of the largest urban school districts in North Carolina. Over 92% of my students come from economically disadvantaged homes and receive free breakfast and lunch. Although I have been an educator for the past 9 years, this is my first year teaching 4th grade.

Victoria Watkins

Visual Arts Teacher

I am a visual arts teacher from North Carolina in my fourteenth year of teaching. I am currently at a high poverty, Title One school, where 100% of our population receives free breakfast and lunch. My art students are in kindergarten through fifth grade and they "travel" the world in the art room. Each year we travel to four countries and learn about the culture, traditions, landscape and animals in that country. To provide exciting, engaging art projects, plus teach them about a new place, takes an incredible amount of research on my part. Having good quality art supplies is imperative. That's where you come in. My budget is small and I rely on help from generous donors to fuel my program. We have added multiple types of technology with iPads, digital drawing pads and 3D Doodler Pens. I am passionate about my job and my students, and want them to have every opportunity to succeed in higher education and a career. Adding literacy, writing, science and math to my program, allows me to further my students' education. Please help me help these kids!

Ashley Williams

2nd Grade Teacher

I am a 2nd grade teacher who loves to inspire children. My classroom is lively and engaging. In Title I schools many children come from low income/poverty stricken homes and have little to no exposure to the activities I want to have. I, like hundreds of other teachers around the country, want to give each of my students the tools they need to succeed and that includes a knowledgeable teacher. Help me be the best teacher I can be. Thank you for your financial contribution to my students.
