Richard Morvin

7th grade Social Studies Teacher

Teaching middle school is challenging, but I love it!! It won't be long before my 7th grade students are running our country, but they will be at a severe disadvantage if we don't find a way to get more technology into our classroom!! In a large school like mine our 400+ 7th graders must share 30 chromebooks - their potential is limitless, but our school's budget is not. Help me unlock the potential of my students and better prepare them for living life in the 21st century!

Kellie Carpen

middle school GTT teacher

As a graduate student, working as a TA, I realized that I wanted to be a teacher! That desire hasn't changed since 1999. I love teaching students, and, after working in all grade levels, realize that I love working with middle school students. I worked for years as a science teacher, and have recently had the opportunity to become a PLTW teacher! I love teaching the preengineering courses, and have had a ton of fun learning the new curriculum! I am so fortunate to have found this position and been hired at such a wonderful school!
