With these funds I will purchase movement furniture for my science lab classroom.  According to research, students benefit from active brains and bodies.  The success rate and ability to focus increase when they have the opportunity to sit or stand or move around during their lessons and activities. My students are enthusiastic about learning and love to experiment and learn in new ways. I have purchased  6 stand up desks for my students (which they love) and they would really appreciate 6 stools to be able to sit on.  As of now they do not have anything to sit on with the desks and some students can only stand for a portion of the class period.  Stools would allow more students to utilize the desks and allow them to shift weight and swing their feet to keep oxygen flowing.
