The Spark Lab is a STEAM program offered at Central Park Elementary School. All of our 450+ students in grades K-6 come to the Spark Lab at least once a week for hands-on experiences in science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. While students are completing engineering challenges and using robotics equipment and 3D printers in the Spark Lab, classroom teachers are incorporating STEAM concepts into students' daily instruction. I work closely with students interested in STEM and have my own after school STEM program that I run 3-4 days a week without any budget assistance from my site or district. I believe that all students should be provided doors of opportunities when it comes to learning experiences in the real world and truly support the four "C"s of 21st Century Learning, that of developing "Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Creativity, and Communication" skills that will make our students so much more marketable in the near future where there will be jobs that are not even thought of yet. Thanks for checking out my fundraising page. My name is Marie Lloyd and I am a first grade teacher at Lomira Elementary School in Lomira, Wisconsin. I have been teaching over 25 years in a variety of grade levels ranging from pre-k-fifth grade. I enrolled for Go Noodle's 30 day trial of their Plus program and we fell in love with it. It incorporates activity into our daily learning. I was able to create customized questions in the area of math, reading, science, and other subjects to use with my first graders. They loved FREEZE! Dance around, and when the screen shows FREEZE they stop and answer a question. Fun way to review and practice concepts all while we get our bodies moving.

I have been teaching music for over 10 years Reagan Academy and I love my job! I teach K-3 general music, 4th grade recorder, guitar and percussion and 5-8th orchestras. I have recently found the music composing program "Noteflight" and love using it! It is easy to use and all work is saved to a cloud where my students can access it at school and at home. I would like to use the "Noteflight Learn" subscription to enable my students to not only write music but to write a class song together through the program where we can access each other's work. Because this is the first time we have used this music composing program at my school, I did not plan for the program in my budget. We would like to use "Noteflight Learn" in the next couple of months to write a class song to perform at the end of the year concert in May so your donations would be put to immediate use!

NATHANIEL WALLACE

Greetings! I am Mr. Nathaniel Wallace and I am a 3rd grade boys teacher at Genesis Innovation Academy in Atlanta, GA. This is my third year teaching. I am excited to be a part this wonderful school and touching the lives of our children and their families. I am a retired Army Officer. I earned my bachelor’s degree from the United States Military Academy and my master’s degree from Webster University. I am originally from St. Stephen, SC and am committed to the belief that all children can learn and excel in life. My goal is to challenge our children to dream big and then to equip them with the knowledge, discipline and work ethic to make their dreams become reality.
