The Description
Quality music education is essential in developing the whole child and that is why I love being a music teacher. Every year I get to see budding musicians light up when playing their favorite instrument or listening to their favorite piece of music. A critical part of developing musicians is helping them understand of music theory and how music is composed. Up until now this process has been tricky for many of my students, and that is why we want to start using Noteflight in our class.
With Noteflight, my students can compose music and record live audio into scores, making this the ideal platform for learning composition and theory as well as for performance assessment and feedback. Noteflight Learn also offers optional content libraries from Hal Leonard and other publishers, allowing students to access hundreds of digital scores of the most popular repertoire for Band, Choir, Orchestra, Piano, Guitar, and Pop Ensemble. These digital scores can be used and adapted for play along, recorded assessments, score study, composition assignments, and more. All of these features will help my students become better musicians.
If this is the type of technology you would have loved to have in your music class, please consider making an investment. Every generous contribution brings this opportunity closer to my amazing students. Even if you cannot invest today, please consider sharing out this opportunity on your social media platforms. This increases the likelihood that our fundraiser will be successful.
