4 & 5th Grade Writing/5th Grade Social Studies
This is my first year as a 4th and 5th grade writing teacher as well as 5th grade US History. I have been teaching for 14 years in other areas, the last 4 was as a 5th grade reading teacher, so this will be a big change for me. I have decided to change my room around also and would like to update some furniture and try some flexible seating areas. I hope to allow my students to have an area that they can go to to be a stronger writer/learner depending on whether they need to be by themselves or within a group setting. I am also needing some other supplies (chart paper and easel) and more portable ways to store writing supplies. I am going with the philosophy that change can be good!
