About
St. Mary of the Annunciation School seeks to provide a Christian atmosphere where happiness, enthusiasm, and industry prevail. It is our belief that we recognize that Christ in us gives rise to the hope of glory in others. Our aim is not merely attainment of knowledge but acquisition of values and discovery of truth. We seek to deepen the students’ sensitivity to our multicultural society and to integrate Christian attitudes into the whole pattern of human life in all its aspects. Hopefully, these attitudes will bring about needed change in the viewpoints and commitments of the students for peace and justice in society. The school will then be a Catholic community where students learn not only about religion, but how to live it.
Here at St. Mary of the Annunciation, students are valued as unique individuals. The faculty and staff seek to be aware of each student's strengths and weaknesses and to help him or her develop a love for learning and growth. Therefore, we will aim to foster information, improve behavior, and form attitudes to assure the mature growth of each student. We recognize parents/guardians as the first teachers of the child. We welcome them as co-educators of the students and through the school community encourage them in their role.

I have 16 students in my classroom this year, with a wide range of academic abilities, capabilities and reading levels.
