SouthLake Christian Academy, located at Lake Norman in Huntersville, NC, was founded in 1994 by SouthLake Presbyterian Church. The school began as a mission of the Church and opened its doors the first year to 23 students. Today, approximately 700 students are enrolled at SouthLake Christian Academy in Junior-Kindergarten through 12th grades. In these 22 years SouthLake has grown and stayed true to our mission - to assist the Christian family by providing an education marked by a biblical worldview, academic excellence and affordability so that students are equipped to be salt and light for God's glory and to present God's Word and biblical worldview daily to non-believers with the promise of God's redemptive plan, to be a force and voice for Jesus Christ that will resonate throughout non-believing families.

Our school is evangelical in nature. Our student population represents diverse Christian denominations as well as non-Christian and non-religious backgrounds. Our hope is to meet your family's immediate need by offering a challenging preparatory education while training students in the Word of God. It is our belief that once a student has the tools to be successful, it is his and her responsibility to use those tools effectively, including the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
