With these funds I will create a Classroom Studio Lab with 6 Recording Cubbies which will allow me to individualize instruction in vocal, music theory and ear training skills, which will result in increased confidence and engagement in our performing choirs. This Studio Lab will also allow me to foster my students' creative abilities in ways that I absolutely could not without these resources. Using the iPads in the classroom and having a space where students can explore, create and learn in a safe and supportive environment would take my choral program to the next level and develop talents and skills in children that some of them aren't even aware that they have!

The total needed for the project is about $6000.

$530 to build a collapsible Plexiglass partition to create the \\"lab" in the classroom space.

          iPad camera adapter kit (for the USB microphone) = $29

          Sound-absorbing Recording Box = $30 (this will allow them to record in private without having to worry about other students listening)

The remaining balance would cover the PledgeCents fees plus tax and shipping on the above items.
