About

Our teachers are credentialed professionals with years of experience. They are committed to educational success for all LFCS students. Our teachers are actively involved in decision-making and school governance, and each of them takes part in professional growth activitieson a regular basis. They are highly creative and innovative individuals who recognize that parents have a choice in the education of their children -- and they're "crazy" about our kids!

Our Charter School: As a result of federal legislation in 1992, the government provides for the development of "charter schools." These schools operate outside of the traditional "public school" education code. Charter schools have been developed all across the nation. California has hundreds of charter schools throughout the state.

Mathematics Teacher, Robotics Coach

I am a Mathematics Teacher and Robotics Coach at Liberty Charter High School, a Literacy First Charter School. After serving over 20 years in the U.S. Navy, I transitioned my service to country to service to community to educate and free young minds from illiteracy, allowing the 1's and 0's to flow...I have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Arts in Education with a Specialization in Teaching Mathematics. After the Navy, I served in the defense industry as a Senior Engineer/Tech Integrator for six years. I strive to incorporate real-world, problem-based scenarios in my classroom.
