Our purpose at Inverness Primary School is to facilitate the learning required by the Language Arts Florida Standards and Math Florida Standards , improve social growth, and prepare students for the next steps. This is to be based on individual student's needs as assessed by appropriate diagnostic tools.

Inverness Primary School is a full service Pre-K through 5th grade elementary school serving over 700 students in Citrus County, Florida. We are located about 60 miles North of Tampa and St. Petersburg in what is called the Nature Coast of Florida.
