Detroit Edison Public School Academy is an public charter school in the historic Eastern Market in Detroit. The Detroit Edison Public School Academy opened its doors in September 1998. Since its inception, DEPSA has evolved into a national-leader in education and is designed on five pillars of excellence: Student Focus; Community-Centric; Master Educators; Superior Education; Pioneering Change. Through rigor and relevant educational programming, DEPSA provides a unique educational community open to all metropolitan Detroit-area students.
