Kindergarten Teacher
I teach 32 creative, energetic Kindergarten students. “Most of what I really need to know about how to live, what to do, and how to be, I learned in kindergarten. Wisdom did not lie at the top of the graduate school mountain, but there in the kindergarten classroom.” Robert Fulghum My students all come from a diverse background. In my class the students speak English, Spanish, Farsi and Vietnamese. I also have several students with Special Needs. We enjoy reading, math, music and creating art. I want my students to love learning and school. Since it is many of my students first experience with school, I want to make sure it is a positive one. Learning should be fun and we have a lot of fun in my classroom, but we also learn a lot!! Our school is becoming a STEAM academy and I am working on getting more technology in my classroom.
