About
Chamblee Charter High School (CCHS) was established in 1917 and is one of DeKalb County’s oldest schools. CCHS was accredited in 1935 and became a Charter School in 2001. We moved into our new building in January 2014 and our Fine Arts building in August 2014. Our mission is to foster the intellectual, social, moral and physical growth of every student. Chamblee Charter High School includes grades 9 -12. The student body is composed of local students, as well as students from the Charter Program or the Magnet Program for High Achievers. Our student body is racially balanced, and culturally and economically diverse. Our extensive curriculum serves a variety of programs available at Chamblee. The Magnet Program for High Achievers, the Gifted/Impact Program, Army JROTC, Advanced Placement courses, Move on When Ready, and services for English Learners and students with disabilities allow our students to thrive.
