With these funds I will bring an amazing program to my school for our current 4th and 5th graders.  Academy On-the-Go! ($330) is a program that brings an unforgettable natural science experience to the classroom.  Academy On-the-Go! brings the excitement of a museum visit—complete with specimens, live animals, and expert naturalists.  The Academy of Natural Sciences provides this amazing program.

Students are able to get up close and personal with animals they would never encounter otherwise. They can see, hear, and touch strange and fascinating creatures while learning about their defense mechanisms, habitats, and behaviors from trained museum educators. Meeting "Animals with Bad Reputations" will help students understand the nature of these animals rather than fearing them.
