With these funds I will... purchase basic classroom supplies. My students attend a Title One school where 75% or more receive free or reduced lunch. Many students come to school without the basic supplies needed for everyday school activities. I will purchase the basics like lined paper, pencils, notebooks, markers, crayons, colored pencils, and scissors. I will then have a station set up where children can \"borrow" whatever they need. So many students are embarrassed to ask for the things they need to do their basic schoolwork so having a supply station would avoid this embarrassment.
