I am looking to create a Diverse Classroom Library. I would like the images within the books my students are using to learn how to read, to reflect their faces. To engage student interest through a sense of self-recognition, family, and community. To fill the bookshelves with books that my students' background knowledge and experiences can connect to in order to learn, understand, and use school vocabulary and literacy concepts efficiently.
