The Description
With these funds I will purchase books to increase literacy within my classroom! Specifically with the funds received by donations I will purchase a "Goosebumps" collection set of 18 books; the collection set cost $100! In my classroom, students participate in the 10 thousand word club! The 10 thousand word club is an exclusive club that can only be joined by reading 10,000 words or MORE in ONE WEEK! This has excited my students to read 1 chapter in a book per week and they are already jumping reading levels! I purchase a lot of books out of pocket or get books donated to me. The "Goosebumps" chapter books series are a high interest for my class. Therefore, having books that students are interested in will help students grow into strong readers!

About the Creator
My name is Janae Reynolds! I have lived in a few different cities. I was born and raised in the always sunny San Diego, California. When I graduated high school I moved to Atlanta to attend college. For the last three years I have been living and teaching in Tallahassee, Florida. I moved to Houston over the summer and now I teach third grade reading. I received my undergraduate degree at the illustrious Clark Atlanta University in Early Childhood Education. I recently received my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an Emphasis in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University.
