Hi friends! 

I had an incredible 1st year teaching and was able to purchase so many necessary and important supplies for my kiddos because of y'all. I'm asking for your help again as the new school year is quickly approaching! 

In order to have a functioning classroom we need basic supplies- pencils, paper, markers, glue, and endless bottles of hand sanitizer. BUT what we need the most of is BOOKS! 

My school does not have the resources for a full-time librarian. So my kids get to check out books from the school library, if we are lucky, about every other month. This makes it impossible for students to get invested in reading without access to books inside the classroom.

Putting books in little hands is the best and most beneficial way for students to develop a love of reading. Also we have a state reading test at the end of the year and getting good scores stems from one thing- reading!!!
