Shortening the Distance in Remote Learning

The Description

With these funds I will...

  1. Distribute care packages to every student at the beginning of the year with school supplies that support educational and emotional development through virtual and in-person instruction
  2. Expand my classroom library to include books that reflect the cultures and lived experiences of all students
  3. Acquire a whiteboard to be used both for virtual and in-person instruction
  4. Supply each student with their own dry erase lapboard and markers to practice vital skills from home
  5. Provide headphones to every student so that they can access virtual learning from home with limited distraction

If we do not reach our goal, I will purchase as many items within my ability to ensure all students have access to equitable education, especially during uncertain times.

Not only did we reach it, but we surpassed our goal!!! Thank you so much for your support of local students. Your contributions help ensure that all students in our commmunity have access to equitable education, especially during uncertain times.
