Hi! Thank you for being here : ) As some of you may know, I will be teaching fifth grade (recently moved from third grade if anyone is confused!!) at Nations Ford Elementary in Charlotte, NC. As a first year teacher in a Title I school (meaning a high percentage of students at the school are from low-income families) I am starting from scratch in an environment of limited resources trying to cultivate a classroom community that will empower my incoming students to become critical thinkers ready to take on the world beyond our classroom! In an effort to meet this goal, I am asking for support to help me make this vision a reality for the 2019-2020 school year.

With that being said, I hope that funds generously donated here will not only get my room off to a great start, but will help sustain and enrich our learning community throughout the year.
