With these funds I will... purchase items to do an origami activity with my students. We will need different types of Origami paper ($100). The students will also need googlie eyes, pompoms, and pipe cleaners to use as decorations ($25). We will also need a storage container to store these items so they are neat and organized ($75). This is a great activity to teach following of directions and geometry. The students love learning new things and it's so much fun to see them share their knowledge with their friends.When they complete the project they have to write a story or present an informative paper on the subject.
