Hi friends!

I successfully completed my 1st year of teaching. It was such an amazing year that was full of growth for my both, my students and I! I can't wait to meet my second group of students along with their families after a much needed summer break. In the next few weeks, I will begin my 2nd year of teaching in my classroom in Yazoo City, Mississippi.

As exciting as this time is, one huge hurdle that students in the Mississippi Delta and other high need regions around the U.S face is a LACK of the necessary materials that they need daily. It is extremely difficult for students to take part in activities and classwork when they do not have basic supplies.

My goal is to make sure all of my students feel cared for, loved, safe, and supported in my classroom. I will use any funds that I raise to purchase the necessary supplies to ensure my students have a classroom that is stocked full of materials and supplies.

Here is a list of some of the materials that your generous investment will help provide for my students:

Paper Clips (450 Count) - $6.00

      * Antibacterial Hand Soap

      * Notebook Paper

      * Glue Sticks

      * Manilla Paper

Back Up Plan

If we do not meet the goal, I will purchase what I can with the amount that it raised. I will priortize the students' most essential needs (pencils,paper,etc) first.

About the Creator

In a few weeks, I will be teaching in my very 1st classroom in a public school. I am positive and convinced that ANY child has the ability learn. However, I know and understand that learning can be difficult without having the supplies and tools needed in order to do so.
