With these funds I will purchase a Microsoft Surface Pro and a compatible keyboard. I plan to use this tablet to help individualize small group instruction in both reading and math, track student progress and also to edit my school's web site in my role as webmaster. My students this year vary greatly in their range of abilities and the Surface Pro will be a wonderful tool in helping me to meet the needs of students in all of my different groups. It will also be an amazing assessment tool. I'll be able to take notes and track progress as I move around the classroom with my students.
