Becoming a teacher has been a life long dream of mine and it is finally becoming a reality. With that being said there are a lot of out of pocket cost to give my students everything I hope for. With this fundraiser, I will purchase things for my classroom that my students need to learn, feel safe, and engage in the classroom.

Some things to buy are:

If we do not reach our goal I will purchase the main necessities for my classroom first, those being pencils, paper, and markers. I will purchase things as I can and do it in order what is absolutely needed to what is added for a good learning environment.

Hello, I am Valerie Ortiz, a new Teach for America Corps member. This year I will be teaching 3rd grade reading and writing. I can not wait to get in the classroom and educate our future leaders but to do so I need to have some necessary supplies to make sure my students are getting the education they deserve but my funds are limited and would love any support I could get.
