The Description

Usually, alternative education has negative connotations, with these funds, I will be able to helps students change their perspective on what it means to cultivate a love for learning in an alternative setting. We believe our students deserve a fresh new outlook on their role as a scholar. Funds will directly impact students as they will have supplies to improve their skills in literacy, writing and thinking critically. Funds will also help create an inviting environment conducive for high student achievement. 

All of your generous donations and funds will be used to as startup supplies to ensure that students have enough materials to start the year off strong! Below is a list of items that your investment will provide:

Hello! I am a first year 6th, 7th, and 8th English Language Arts teacher in Kansas City, MO. My school is unique in the sense that it provides students with an alternative middle school education in contrast to traditional public school. My students embody what I believe is most true about education, as there should never be an excuse not to obtain a education.
