With these funds I will...purchase items to do classroom experiments. We will buy things like candy to do edible experiments. I will use items like gummy worms, Swedish fish, and sour candy to show the kids the effects of pollution on water and their bodies. We will learn nutrition and see what making different choices can mean to our health. I will teach them how calories and nutrition work by comparing healthy and unhealthy snacks like organic protein bars compared to candy. The cost of the candy and bars are $12-$17 a box.
