I am in the process of changing to flexible seating in my classroom. I would love to have some scoop chairs as a seating option. I have already made some changes from standard table and chair seating and the children have responded positively. They love the freedom flexible seating offers. They also love the idea that they have a choice in where they sit.

I have found that especially the boys are much more attentive when they have room to wiggle and move.

These scoop chairs will allow them to sit, but yet still release some of their wonderful boundless energy.

I believe the more appropriate choices I can allow my children to make the more productive and happy they are. The happier they are - the more they learn. Happy learners are my ultimate goal!
