With these funds I will purchase books for my classroom. My children have very few, if any, books in their own homes and they love having books to read while they are at school. I want to purchase 6 copies of "Buzz Boy" and "Fly Guy" and 6 copies of "Hi Fly Guy", which will cost approximately $4 each on Ebay (link below). I chose this book because the kids love "Fly Guy" when they can check it out from the school library, but the library has only 2 or 3 copies of "Fly Guy". I want to get 6 copies of each so that my mid-level reading groups in both my classes can read this book and enjoy discussing the book and helping each other understand it. I want 6 copies of different books so that the classes can swap when they finish their books. It is wonderful that this book is a chapter book on a mid-first grade reading level. It can get my kids, who are often intimidated by chapter books, to feel comfortable with one that is at their reading level. Please help my kids learn to love reading with "Fly Guy"!
