With these funds I will be able to make copies for my students to read primary and secondary sources so that they can learn about American history from people as they directly experienced it.  I will also be able to purchase supplies that my students can use for projects that will help bring American History to life for them.  My students are in constant need of classroom supplies and technology.  Many of them do not have cellphones and are even less likely to have internet/computer access at home.  This makes it especially crucial for us to be able to use our time wisely in class and let them work in groups to learn on their own.  Being able to print out reading assignments for them will also let them have more control of the speed at which they work enhancing their independence.
