Last year, Night Zookeeper helped over 300,000 students develop their reading and writing skills across the world.

Night Zookeeper is a digital learning product focussed on reading and writing improvement. Teachers set lessons on any subject or topic and can assess all work produced by their students. Our monthly writing leagues and competitions motivate even the most reluctant writers!

On Nightzookeeper.com, children write in a range of different genres, including reports, adventure stories and poems about the Magical Animals they draw as they work through the game. All of their writing is then sent to their class teacher and can be published on their very own online newspaper.

We have just launched a brand new feature called Lesson Hive, where teachers around the world create lessons you can use in your classroom. We also populate this library with the latest lessons produced by our team of education professionals. These span a range of subjects and topics.

How It Works

To access all of the Night Zookeeper features follow the steps below:

1. Teachers create their own assessment account online.
2. Give students your unique class code and invite them to become a ‘Night Zookeeper’.
3. Students create their avatar and then go through our simple tutorial.
4. Students also take their first lesson on the platform.
5. The above activity is automatically sent through to their teacher for the first time.
6. This cycle can continue, with teachers setting different bespoke challenges on a daily or weekly basis.
