My name is Kate Cucci and I teach children with disabilities at Virgil Mills Elementary School. As an ESE teacher, I take great pride in encouraging my students to learn, dream, and achieve. I do not allow my students to make excuses or feel as though their disability defines who they are as individuals. My children will go every bit as far as their typically developing peers through constant perseverance and the power of a positive attitude. Our classroom is a hands on, positive and nurturing environment. We focus on whole child development by supporting social/emotional, academic and physical aspects of learning.
