Van Meter's Elementary, Middle, and High School are all located on one campus. This unique K-12 facility allows the district to better personalize learning for each student by providing more flexibility and learning opportunities designed to meet each students' needs.

Van Meter Schools was recently chosen as one of the 1st three schools identified as an exemplar model for learning in the 21st century by Partnership for 21st Century Skills. P21 is a group that the state of Iowa has worked with to help develop some of the guidelines for infusing communication, collaboration, creativity, innovation, and other skills in its curriculum and instruction.
