I have four years of experience with teaching at a charter school in Washington DC. Now I am working at a public school in the state of Maryland. Before teaching, I graduated from Hood College with my degree in Early Childhood Education. I truly enjoy my experiences as an Early Childhood teacher. I taught Prekindergarten for three year olds for three years and now I am back teaching Prekindergarten with four and five year olds. Growing up, people would tell me that I was smart. But I always knew that this was not completely true. One of my earliest memories was of me sitting down with my mom and she would show me flashcards. Now that I am older I understand that it is not that I am smart. All people have the potential to be smart. It is really about the people you have supporting you and the foundation that you are given.
