I teach full-day inclusion kindergarten at a Title One school. My educational background includes a B.S. In Early Childhood Education and M.Ed. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher. My job is challenging, but fulfilling. It is my dream job!

I am a Kindergarten teacher in a high poverty area in South Carolina. I have been working at the same school for seven years. I teach 23 high energy, fun-loving children. We focus a lot of instruction on literacy as well as STEM. I am married and a mother to 2 year old boy/girl twins.

My students are eager learners and come in every day ready to embark on new adventures. Our school is a Title 1 school and over 70% receive free or reduced breakfast and lunch. Some of the population are fortunate enough to have various experiences outside of the classroom, while others aren't. I want to bring experiences to them so they feel they have a chance to be equally successful as anyone else in the world!! My students deserve to have the best experiences in the classroom with out socioeconomic status standing in the way.
