Music Teacher

The new school year has begun, and I am so excited for the school year to begin! This is my sixth year teaching at KIPP SHINE Prep in Houston ,Texas. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, I moved to Shanghai, China to teach Kindergarten at and American school for two years. I then moved to Houston to begin teaching at SHINE. I spent one year here teaching pre-K4, and the following year began the music program as the new music teacher. I feel so thankful for the experiences I've had, but am most excited about making music with my SHINEsters everyday. The boys' and girls' creativity and zest never cease to amaze me!
