About
Harold D. Isenberg Elementary School was built during the 1976-1977 school year. The school’s Dedication and Open House were held on October 2, 1977. Dr. Elizabeth “Betsy” Detty was the first Principal of the school. Isenberg was the culmination of seven years of planning by teachers, principals, administrators and the architect. The forty-acre site was intended to provide ample space for physical activity and the study of nature.
