IDEA Public Schools is a growing network of tuition-free PK-12 public schools serving nearly 23,000 students in 44 schools across Texas (San Antonio, Austin, and the Rio Grande Valley).
Since our first high school graduating class nine years ago, we have achieved 100% college acceptance among our seniors as well as a college graduation rate five times the national average for students from low-income communities. In addition, our full-scale high schools are ranked among the very best and most challenging schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report and The Washington Post.

6th Grade Math Teacher
As you all know, I will begin a new adventure this fall as a 6th grade math teacher. Of course I want to be well prepared to give my students the best education they deserve. One day, all children in this nation will have the opportunity to attain an excellent education. I truly believe in this mission. The only thing is I may need help in gathering materials for my classroom, so my students won't have to buy them. The students that I will be teaching are housed in one of the lowest income neighborhoods of San Antonio, if not the lowest. So this will definitely be a huge help for my students!!
