The Denver Center for International Studies (DCIS) at Ford Elementary is a unique school in the Far Northeast region of Denver offering students a rigorous curriculum that is global in design. DCIS at Ford is the third elementary school in the International Studies Schools Network (ISSN). This education initiative aims to develop deep knowledge about the world and critical 21st century skills within and across disciplines. Problem seeking, analysis, problem solving, and collaboration are all hallmarks of this type of education.
